Flowers in late July

Between the wet days at the end of the long rainy season and the extreme heat of summer I was lucky to get outdoors and photograph some flowers a few days in late July.

July 22

A few small lotus flowers were blooming at the Omifuji Botanical Gardens in Kitazakura, Yasu City.

July 23

Both ostentatious and humble wildflowers line paths and fields near my home.

Cultivated plants with bright flowers add color to our neighborhood.
